About This Project

This dashboard visualizes results from a Machine Learning analysis to predict porcini mushroom locations across Germany.

Data Sources

  • GBIF - Global Biodiversity Information Facility (verified mushroom findings 2003-2024)
  • BKG - Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (forest data)
  • UBA - German Environment Agency (pollution data)

ML Model

Random Forest Classifier trained on environmental features including soil pH, tree species composition, air quality, and symbiotic fungi presence.
